ERBARIO CANDLE

Erbario evokes a tranquil scene of bees humming along herbaceous borders; stacks of old-world willow; and walls lined with garden tools underneath moss-covered thatched roofs. Earthy and herbaceous notes of tomato leaf; basil; carrot seed; mint and fig sing in the warm afternoon air; blending with a shadowy undergrowth of moss and patchouli.Inspired by 8th century stemcups; this elegantly drawn vessel is characterized by a footed base; raised band; and flared rim. Poured and fired from fine white porcelain; the vessel is coated internally in a transparent glaze with a matte exterior — after burning; it can be repurposed as a vase for stems or a decorative object.
