Kelsey McKinney is a reporter and writer who lives in Philadelphia. She is a co-owner and features writer at  Defector.com. Her first novel,  God Spare The Girls , was published in the summer of 2021. She is the host and writer of the podcast  Normal Gossip,  and her book  about  gossip ( You Didn't Hear This From Me)  is out in 2025. About Philabundance Philabundance was founded in 1984 with the simple belief that no one should go hungry while healthy food goes to waste. Their mission is to drive hunger from their communities today and to end hunger for good. In addition to food distribution, they reduce food waste, increase access to nutritious meals, and tackle the root causes of hunger through programs such as the Philabundance Community Kitchen.
