LANDS' END LONG SLEEVE RUGBY SHIRT

We sold our first rugby in the 1980s. Our goal? Same as always: make it as good as we can. And, in this case, make it as tough as the game it's named after. Today's Long Sleeve Rugby Shirt embodies those same principles, with authentic rubber buttons (originally added so players wouldn't scratch each other on contact), a tough twill collar, reinforced seams that won't stretch out of shape and stonewashed cotton jersey fabric that only gets softer with age. There's no mistaking this for a polo — it's the real deal. A rugby, through and through. Substantial stonewashed cotton jersey fabric feels broken in, resists shrinkage Authentic rubber buttons are nearly impossible to break Reinforced shoulder seams won’t stretch out of shape Twill collar stands on its own, retains its shape Tennis tails with taped side vents 100% cotton. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. You'll love our Striped Rugby. It's substantial yet breathable 100% cotton jersey, garment washed so the fabric is softened up - broken in, but not broken down. (That washing also minimizes shrinkage, which is a good thing.) The stripes are vibrant - and will stay that way. As for features, there are enough to make some others cry, "foul!" Like twill tape on the placket and nicely finished tennis tails with twill-taped side vents. A nice twill collar. The long sleeves have rib-knit cuffs. We think you'll agree: we've scored a goal.
