The scent finishes with a sandalwood and amber nestled at its base.Though Liz Claiborne herself passed in 2007, the legacy of her brand lives on through the company's women's and men's apparel and fragrance lines. What began as a women's fashion company in New York in 1976 evolved into a Fortune 500 business, and was actually the first company to enter the Fortune 500 that was founded by a woman. The company's mix-and-match collection solidified its place in fashion history by radicalizing the way women choose their clothing.
