This piece consists of a life-sized fly made in sterling silver, highlighted with gold plating on the highly detailed wings, set with black diamond eyes. The natural realism continues with the twig detailing around the band, a feature found in all of the rings from the Beetle Collection. Solid Sterling Silver can become tarnished over time, if this happens the best method is to clean your ring is to lightly apply a polishing cloth to bring up the highlights on the shank. The ring is made from oxidised silver and so any using silver dip may remove this effect. The wings are gold vermeil and should not be brought into contact with chlorine, cleaning agents, perfumes or lotions. The design is as life-like as possible so care must be taken to not damage the wings. To protect your jewellery, it should be the last thing you put on when getting dressed and we recommend turning the ring to the palm and creating a fist to avoid catching whilst putting on coats and jumpers.
