Solid Sterling Silver can become tarnished over time, if this happens the best method is to clean your ring is use a soft toothbrush with gentle, diluted washing up liquid to remove dirt from under the stone and to lightly apply a polishing cloth to bring up the highlights. The ring is made from oxidised silver and so any using silver dip may remove this effect. Smokey Quartz can be chipped so this ring must not be worn during physical activity. The design is as life-like as possible so care must be taken to not damage the legs; your jewellery should be the last thing you put on when getting dressed and we recommend turning the ring to the palm and creating a fist to avoid catching whilst putting on coats and jumpers.
